On Friday, May 13, Justin Thomas Parker, 43, pleaded guilty to and was sentenced for DUII and recklessly endangering another person for an incident occurring on May 28, 2020.
He was sentenced to 30 days in jail, 36 months probation and suspension of his driver’s license for one year for the DUII charged, and 10 days in jail for the reckless endangerment charge.
Parker was also sentenced to 10 days in jail for a charge of failure to appear on a criminal citation from July 15, 2020. Reckless driving and second degree criminal mischief charges were dismissed.
He also pleaded guilty to DUII and reckless driving charges for an incident occurring on Dec. 18, 2021. For the DUII charge he was sentenced to 30 days in jail, 36 months probation and suspension of his driver’s license for three years.
For the reckless driving charge, he was sentenced to 10 days in jail and a 90-day suspension of his license. A charge of open container in a motor vehicle was dismissed.
According to both court documents, the defendant’s BAC was listed above .2%, and he was fined $2,000 for DUII, and $255 for an intoxication conviction fee.
Parker was also arrested July 13, 2019 for DUII and issued a warrant for failure to appear on the charge, but, according to staff at Sweet Home Municipal Court, the charge was dismissed on April 5, 2022 because he had a pending case in Albany.
Jake James Sorrell, 25, was charged May 2 with second-degree burglary, second degree theft and second degree criminal mischief for allegations that he entered property in the 28000 block of Ridgeway Road, destroyed a shed door and stole tools valued at $100 or more.
