Logan Kenneth White
Logan Kenneth White, 27, was sentenced June 28 in three cases before Linn County Circuit Court. The charges in a fourth case were dismissed as part of plea negotiations.
White was among three suspects arrested Feb. 9, 2018 following the execution of a search warrant by police at a residence located at White’s Electronics, 1011 Pleasant Valley Road, in connection to one of the cases he was charged with.
He was sentenced to 20 months in prison with multiple concurrent sentences. He was sentenced to 36 months of post-prison supervision.
In the first case, filed Oct. 1, 2017, he pleaded guilty to felony delivery of heroin and unlawful possession of a firearm. A charge of unlawful possession of heroin was dismissed as part of a plea agreement.
He was sentenced to 20 months in prison concurrent to all other previously imposed sentences with 36 months of probation for distribution of heroin. He received a sentence of 30 days in jail, with credit for time served and concurrent to previous sentences for unlawful possession of a firearm. He was ordered to pay $300 in fees and fines.
The charges stemmed from an incident on Oct. 1. Linn County Sheriff’s Office was the investigating agency.
Charges in a second LCSO case, second-degree theft and identity theft, were dismissed as part of the plea agreement. The charges were connected to an incident on Nov. 24.
In the third case, White pleaded guilty to delivery of methamphetamine, unlawful possession of a destructive device and possession of a prohibited firearm or silencer and no contest to two counts of first-degree theft. All are felonies.
Dismissed were possession of methamphetamine, possession of heroin, delivery of heroin and failure to appear.
White was sentenced to 20 months in prison concurrent to other sentences for delivery of methamphetamine. He received a sentence of 30 days in jail each for possession of prohibited firearms or silencer and two counts of first-degree theft concurrent to previous sentences.
He was sentenced to 13 months in prison for unlawful possession of a destructive device concurrent to other sentences. He was ordered to pay $1,000 in fees and fines.
The charges stemmed from a Feb. 9, 2018 investigation by Lebanon Police Department involving the theft by receiving of two firearms and the possession of blasting caps with an explosive component.
In the fourth case, White pleaded guilty to unauthorized use of a vehicle, a felony, and third-degree escape.
Dismissed were charges of delivery of heroin, delivery of methamphetamine, unlawful possession of a firearm and unlawful possession of a destructive device, a pipe bomb.
He was sentenced to 30 days each in jail for unauthorized use of a vehicle and third-degree escape, and his license was revoked for 12 months. The sentences were concurrent with other sentences.
He was ordered to pay $4,826.35 in fines, fees and restitution.
The charges stemmed from an incident on April 1 in a case investigated by Albany Police Department.
According to Department of Corrections records, White was detained at Coffee Creek Intake Center, and his earliest release date is Aug. 13, 2021.
Michael Dashawn Ferebee
Michael Dashawn Ferebee, 39, was sentenced in Linn County Circuit Court to 20 days in jail, with credit for time served after pleading no contest July 1 to a charge of menacing.
As part of a plea agreement, a charge of unlawful use of a weapon was dismissed.
He was sentenced to 36 months of bench probation and fined $100.
Sweet Home police arrested Ferebee on June 18. He was accused of threatening the use of a knife against another person placing the victim in fear of imminent serious physical injury.
Sweet Home police arrested Ferebee again July 17 and he was arraigned in Linn County Circuit Court on two counts of strangulation involving the same victim and second-degree theft involving a different victim.
He is scheduled to appear next in Linn County Circuit Court on July 22 for a pre-trial conference.
