Kristopher Ray Moak
Kristopher Ray Moak, 29, pleaded no contest to a charge of first-degree burglary, a class A felony, on March 15 and was sentenced to 21 months in prison.
He was fined $200 and will be on post-prison supervision for 36 months.
As part of a plea agreement, charges of first-degree theft, misdemeanor driving while suspended, and possession of methamphetamine were dismissed.
The theft charge was related to the burglary case, while the driving while suspended and possession charges were in a separate case.
Moak and Mary Cheyanne Birdwell-Hathaway were arrested by Sweet Home police on Jan. 5 in connection to a burglary in the 1200 block of Second Avenue in November.
In the second case, Sweet Home police arrested Moak on Dec. 23 following a traffic stop.
Birdwell-Hathaway was indicted in the burglary on March 4 on charges of first-degree burglary and first-degree theft. She is scheduled for an early resolution conference on April 5.
Brian Lee Richardson
Brian Lee Richardson, 42, was sentenced to 20 days in jail and 24 months probation for fourth-degree assault on Feb. 22.
A charge of second-degree sexual abuse was dismissed.
He was fined $100.
He was ordered on March 17 to enter the domestic violence treatment program Bridges 2 Safety.
Richardson had been arrested on Feb. 11 for fourth-degree assault and first-degree rape. The district attorney filed a charge of second-degree sexual abuse instead of rape.
The victim had called police and reported a male entering her room and trying to take away her phone. She said that when she wouldn’t give the phone to him, the male assaulted her.
