Husky girls fall hard to tough teams in basketball

Cascade 90, Sweet Home 31

The Huskies lost 90-31 at Cascade in girls basketball Friday night.

“We’re struggling defensively,” said Coach Robby Robinson. “We’re giving up way too many rebounds, too many points and too many easy baskets.”

The team is struggling with confidence when it gets behind, he said. “At times, I thought we sparkled. Defensively we created some problems for them.”

The Huskies ran a triangle and two defense, he said, but the Huskies were too soft on rebounding.

They’re struggling a little bit with “this whole losing syndrome,” he said, but they’re working on that and it doesn’t mean they won’t overcome it.
