A Lebanon man was arrested Wednesday afternoon, Aug. 24, on drug charges after a search warrant was served at his home.
The investigation began in response to alleged drug sales in Sweet Home, Sweet Home Police Chief Jeff Lynn said.
At approximately 5:20 p.m. Wednesday, Sweet Home Police officers, with assistance from the Lebanon Police Department and the Linn County Sheriff’s Office, served the narcotics-related search warrant 2800 S 9th St. in Lebanon, Lynn said.
When law enforcement officials arrived, they found two adults leaving from the residence. Lebanon police stopped the two after they had driven away.
Lynn said that during the investigation, detectives seized evidence related to heroin distribution and use, as well as methamphetamine use.
A narcotics investigation was opened by the Sweet Home Police Department due to reported drugs sales, frequent short-stay traffic and suspicious activity related to Lien, Lynn said.
Christina Cash, 23, of Lebanon, was interviewed and released from the scene. Charges are expected at a later time related to her presence at the residence, Lynn said.
Skyler Todd Lien, 26, who, Lynn said, is the homeowner and the subject of the investigation was arrested for distribution of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance–heroin and -methamphetamine.
He was also charged with an additional count of DCS- and PCS-heroin related to a drug sale that allegedly occurred in July 2016. He was lodged at Linn County Jail.
Lynn said investigators determined that a moderate quantity of heroin that Lien was allegedly distributing regularly flowed into the Sweet Home area.
