7:24 a.m. – Caller reported a Ford F-150 stolen from the driveway during the night, 28600 block of Highway 20. The vehicle was later impounded by Sweet Home police after finding it blocking a lane of travel.
8:54 a.m. – Vehicle towed as abandoned, 1500 block of 9th.
2:13 p.m. – Caller reported finding opened condoms on the playground, 605 Elm St., Oak Heights Elementary. Officer collected and disposed of the items.
6:30 p.m. – Caller reported criminal mischief, 45900 block of Highway 20. Report taken.
6:32 p.m. – Caller reported a male sitting in a chair in the middle of Foster Dam and acting suspicious. Officer contacted the male, who works for a contracting company. He was downloading data.
7:49 p.m. – Caller reported that a tree that was being cut down fell on a house, 1300 block of Poplar. Information noted. Power and water were shut off to the area. Poles and lines replaced by Pacific Power.
9:04 p.m. – Jordan Scott Carter, 28, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle, Albany. Cited and released.
9:57 a.m. – Jeremy Michael Hicks, 37, arrested on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft and Lebanon warrant for contempt of court and probation violation on original charge of second-degree theft and failure to appear on a criminal citation and cited for driving while suspended, driving uninsured and failure to use headlights, 1800 block of Kalmia.
May 5
Caller reported dogs barking nonstop, 2000 block of Long. Officer advised owner of the complaint, and the owner agreed to take care of the issue.
3:01 a.m. – Caller heard a bang at a neighbor’s house, and a dog started barking, 1200 block of 40th. The caller requested that an officer drive by. Officer responded. Neighborhood quiet upon arrival. Officer found no signs of anything suspicious.
1:18 p.m. – Caller reported a puppy running loose, 1500 block of Tamarack. Officer unable to locate.
3:16 p.m. – A 16-year-old male taken into custody for second-degree theft, 3224 Main St., South Fork manufactured home park. Cited and released. Caller had reported her grandson stealing money from her.
4:57 p.m. – Officer located two dogs at large, 1200 block of 23rd. One dog caught and placed in kennel.
5:46 p.m. – Johnny Ray Truett, 48, of Dallas, Ore., arrested for fourth-degree assault and first-degree burglary, 30000 block of Fairview. Linn County Sheriff’s deputies had responded to a reported stabbing at the residence. Truett is accused of punching a resident of the house one to three times, according to the LCSO report. The resident then allegedly tried to stab Truett with a butcher knife. At press time, no charges were filed against the resident of the house. Truett transported to Linn County Jail.
6:49 p.m. – Ladonna Gayle Bales, 42, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Eugene. Cited and released.
8:50 p.m. – Caller reported a knife stolen, Kalmia and 13th. Report taken.
9:05 p.m. – Ryan Logan Binks, 25, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Yamhill County. Cited and released.
9:08 p.m. – Caller reported that someone attempted to break into a vehicle, 700 block of Main. Report taken.
May 4
2:19 a.m. – Caller reported hearing a loud bang outside her residence, 5500 block of Poplar. She suspected someone threw something at her house or her car. Officer checked the perimeter with the caller, and they located a cell phone that appeared to have been thrown at the house. Officer checked the rest of the neighborhood but did not locate anyone in the area.
4:42 a.m. – Caller reported that a male just stole her sister’s bicycle, 4100 block of Osage. Bicycle recovered. Another bike frame was missing. Caller did not wish to file a report.
5:17 a.m. – Amelia Renee-Marie Kirby, 23, cited for driving while suspended.
6:29 a.m. – Caller reported a black Lab running loose, 1st and Nandina. The dog was somewhat aggressive and wouldn’t let the caller get in her vehicle. Officer responded and checked the area. Unable to locate.
9 a.m. – Caller reported he had several items stolen and he believes it may be people who have been staying with him, 1800 block of 12th. Officer responded. Information noted. Officer planned to attempt to locate and trespass the subjects from the location.
10:55 a.m. – Caller reported a fight between students during break, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Report taken.
11:15 a.m. – Bobbi Jo Henson, 37, cited and released in field on Linn County Justice Court warrant for failure to appear and Lebanon warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, 1220 23rd Ave. Caller had reported two females arguing, and one of them was pregnant.
1:15 p.m. – Laticia Pilar Sanchez, 28, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of providing false information to a police officer, 161 10th Ave. Cited and released.
1:28 p.m. – Caller reported his vehicle was possibly hit while parked, 400 block of Ironwood. Information noted.
2:44 p.m. – Caller heard a trespasser go through his fence, tearing down a gate and leaving on the trail behind his house, 100 block of 10th. Caller did not want to pursue charges but requested that the male subject be trespassed.
2:51 p.m. – Caller reported an ongoing problem with a neighbor’s dog barking, 4000 block of Osage. The dispatcher heard the barking over the phone. Officer responded. Owner was not home. Officer left a business card for contact.
3:02 p.m. – Caller reported a business owner in the parking lot with a female screaming at her after she asked her not to sleep behind the business, 1358 Main St., Cut Loose. Officer contacted all parties. Female trespassed from the property.
3:11 p.m. – Ryan Kelly Rikala, 31, arrested for possession of burglary tools, reckless driving, recklessly endangering another person, property hit and run, failure to carry and present a license, possession of meth, tampering with evidence, providing false information to a police officer, criminal trespass, a state warrant for parole violation, a Lebanon warrant for failure to appear on a criminal citation and Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charges of resisting arrest and third-degree escape, South Hills Trail. Transported to Linn County Jail.
3:28 p.m. – Two 16-year-old males referred to Linn County Juvenile Department for second-degree disorderly conduct, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School.
7:11 p.m. – Joseph Vernon Adamski, 30, arrested for driving under the influence, 2295 Main St. Vehicle impounded.
9:24 p.m. – Harvey Michael Kipicka, 32, arrested for second-degree disorderly conduct, possession of meth and resisting arrest, 328 9th Ave. Caller had reported a male getting ready to fight with his wife out by the street.
May 3
12:27 p.m. – Caller reported multiple items stolen and that someone shot an arrow at the side of his residence, 100 block of 10th. Report taken. Loss valued at $850.
3:42 p.m. – Caller reported a truck had been parked in the same location for two years and a black car had been parked for four months, 1800 block of Ulex. Officer responded. Vehicles parked on private property and not obstructing roadway.
4:31 p.m. – Caller reported two-vehicle crash, 9th and Main. Officer assisted in exchanging information. No injuries. No citations.
4:57 p.m. – Caller reported a male and female hitting golf balls across the street to the old mill site, 1600 block of 18th. Officer unable to locate.
4:58 p.m. – Caller reported finding a mattress under the house, 1400 block of Evergreen. She thinks someone had been staying under the residence. Officer responded and found a small tied-up mattress in the crawlspace. Caller planned to secure the area and call if there were further issues.

9:14 p.m. – Jasen John King, 43, cited for driving uninsured, 6000 block of Main.
9:54 p.m. – Caller reported an RV parked in the church parking lot, 1266 44th Ave. Officer contacted the owner of the vehicle. The owner advised he pulled over to take a nap and agreed to find another spot for the night.
11:53 p.m. – Caller reported that a van had been seen parked at location the previous few nights, 44th and Main. Officer contacted the owner of the vehicle. The owner advised he would move along in the morning.
May 2
7 a.m. – Caller reported a vehicle parked on the street, 1400 block of 42nd. The vehicle had no tags, and the hood was up. Officer contacted the owner, who planned to move the vehicle to private property in the next day or two.
9:58 a.m. – Caller reported five to six people living in a travel trailer with five to six dogs in the backyard, 1700 block of Grape. Referred to code enforcement.
12:27 p.m. – Caller reported two cats inside a vehicle, and the vehicle had been parked all day, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Officer contacted the owner of the vehicle. Food and water were in the vehicle. The officer advised the owner that it was getting warmer out, and the owner agreed to move it in 15 to 20 minutes. The cats were not in distress.
12:45 p.m. – Tony Ray Roebuck, 24, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, and Amanda Leah Binks, 25, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct, behind All-Star. Both cited and released in field.
1:28 p.m. – Caller reported a flatbed trailer parked for more than three weeks, 1000 block of 3rd. Officer contacted a family member, who agreed to advise the owner of the complaint.
3:10 p.m. – Caller reported more than seven dogs living at location, 1800 block of Tamarack, and the smell was bothering the neighbors. Officer contacted the owner, who was aware of city ordinances limiting the number of dogs allowed. He advised he was working to solve the issue.
3:38 p.m. – Oregon State Police investigated a hit and run after observing a vehicle sideswipe another vehicle, 1300 block of Main. No citations.
4:02 p.m. – Caller reported two lots west of his property for sale with piles of debris and tall weeds and grass, 1800 block of Grape. Caller believed transients may be staying on the property at times. Officer unable to locate debris or trash on lots for sale. Officer planned to attempt contacting real estate agent or owners to advise them of the complaint.
7:18 p.m. – Roy Allen Sparhawk, 46, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of possession of heroin and Lebanon warrants for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree theft and contempt of court and probation violation on original charge of second-degree theft, 305 7th Ave. Transported to Linn County Jail. Callers had reported a male and female arguing and yelling with children present.
10:55 p.m. – Amber Elizabeth Martinez, 30, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of resisting arrest, Lebanon. Cited and released.
