Hope For Mothers

The Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital will be hosting a navigating perinatal well-being event from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., Dec. 28. This is a free to attend event. Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMADs), also known as Postpartum Depression, can affect anyone who is currently pregnant, has recently had a baby, has ended a pregnancy or miscarried, and/or has stopped breastfeeding.

Whether symptoms are mild or serious, if they last longer than two weeks or affect a person’s ability to enjoy their daily life, loved ones should encourage the parent to seek help. Early intervention is crucial to help parents and their families have a healthy, long-lasting outcome. For more information, Laurie Barajas at (541) 451-7872 or email [email protected].
