Junior Alison Frey won both her singles matches last week, but the young Warriors lost the team competitions to Dallas and Silverton last week.
Dallas 6, Lebanon 2: Lebanon’s girls scored two wins on the road April 17 at Dallas, both in singles.
Frey won the No. 1 singles match 6-4, 6-1 over Sayre Irving and senior Hailey Destowet won the No. 2 match against the Dragons’ Addisyn Moore 6-2, 6-3.
Silverton 7, Lebanon 1: Lebanon’s sole win at home April 16 against the Foxes was Frey’s 6-3, 6-3 victory in No. 1 singles over Marion Bosseler.
Up next for the Warriors are home matches against Corvallis on Tuesday, April 21, and West Albany on Thursday, April 23. Both start at 4 p.m.
“These next few matches we have are up against some of the top schools in our league so it’ll be some more challenging matches,” Coach Endya Robinson said. “Alison Frey is currently 4-0 for league matches and on track to be seeded this year. As well, Hailey Destowet is showing great progress, being 3-1 with league matches.”
Lebanon boys beat Dallas, Silverton

Lebanon’s boys beat Dallas 5-3 on April 17, as the Warriors won two fo the four singles matches and three of the four doubles face-offs.
Freshman Colton Parrish won the No. 2 singles match 6-2, 6-1, and sophomore Kadyn Hull won the No. 4 singles 6-4, 6-3.
In doubles, seniors Landyn Whitney and Silas Fitchett combined for a 2-6, 6-1, 7-5 win in the No. 1 doubles match. In the No. 3 match, sophomores Benjamin Klinger and Joshua Allydice won 6-0, 6-3. Sophomore Nick McLoed and Daniel Doerzapf combined to win the No. 4 doubles 6-0, 6-1.
Against Silverton, Lebanon won all four singles matches and two doubles matches in a 6-2 victory April 16.
Junior Micah Zderad won the No. 1 singles match 6-0, 6-1, with Whitney taking No. 2 6-2, 6-0, sophomore Benjamin Klinger No. 3 6-4, 6-1 and Parrish taking the No. 4 match 6-0, 6-2.
In doubles, Fitchett and Allydice combined for a win at the No. 2 spot, 6-4, 7-5, while Nick McLoed and Doerzaph took the No. 3 doubles match, 6-1, 6-2.
